Question velocity is the speed in which one can receive humanly comprehensible results from a given database in a given amount of time. The speed is defined by the time lapsed from the moment a well defined question is applied to a database until acceptable results are produced and includes the time it takes to articulate the query for an acceptable level of integrity. The time lapsed is called Time-To-Answer (TTA).
